Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Hindi.

Each speaker's own voice

A podcast with two people comes back with two voices, each one copied from its speaker.

Captions in the new language

The captions and the headline are translated and drawn in your clip's own caption style.

Match lips

Tick it and the mouths are redrawn to fit the new words. Clips up to 3 minutes.

How a dub is made

Under any finished clip, press Dub, pick a language and press Start. Every line is translated, then spoken again in the voice of the person who said it, starting where the English line started.

The clip's own sound stays under the new voices, so the laughs, reactions and music between lines are still there. When it is ready you can play it and download it. Every dub of a clip is listed in its Dub window.

What it costs

Dubbing comes with the Pro and Business plans. A dub uses 10 credits for each minute of clip, and Match lips 20 more a minute. A dub that fails gives all its credits back, and asking for the same dub again costs nothing.

Questions

Does dubbing change my original clip?

No. The dub is a new copy. Your clip stays as it is, in English.

Which languages can I dub into?

Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Hindi. Your video itself needs to be in English.

Will it sound like me?

Each speaker is spoken in a copy of their own voice, made from what they say in the clip. Someone who says very little is spoken in the main speaker's voice.

Do I need permission?

Yes. You tick a box to say you own the video or have the speaker's permission to copy their voice.

Which plans have it?

Pro and Business. A dub uses 10 credits a minute of clip, and Match lips 20 more a minute.

Is MasterClip free?

Yes. The Free plan gives you 30 minutes of video a month with no card. Free clips carry a small watermark and are deleted after 3 days, so download the ones you want. Paid plans start at $7 a month.
