Viral Edit
An AI edited version of a clip: how to start one, how many each plan gets, and how long it takes.
Viral Edit makes a second, AI edited version of one clip. It adds zooms, text pops, sound effects, music and cutaways. Your original clip stays as it is.
Start one
Press Viral Edit on a clip card. Or open the clip in the editor and use the Viral Edit tab.
The AI picks the edit style that fits the clip. When it is done, a switch on the card chooses between Original and Viral Edit.
Press Viral Edit again to make a new one. Each one you start counts against your allowance.
How many you get
| Plan | Viral Edits |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 in total |
| Starter | 3 in total, then 5 each calendar month |
| Pro | 3 in total, then 15 minutes of clip time each calendar month |
| Business | 3 in total, then 60 minutes of clip time each calendar month |
The first 3 are counted once for your account and do not come back each month.
On Starter, each one you start after that uses one of the month's 5, whatever the clip's length. On Pro and Business the clip's length is counted: a 45 second clip uses 45 seconds of the month's minutes.
The month is the calendar month and starts on the 1st (in UTC), not on the day you pay.
Changing plan in the middle of a month does not start the count again: what you have used that month is counted against the new plan's allowance.
A Viral Edit never uses credits. One that fails does not count against your allowance.
The note under the clip's buttons shows how many you have left.
How long it takes
A few minutes. You can leave the page. The edit shows up on the clip card when it is ready.
Limits
- Viral Edit works on vertical 9:16 clips only. A square, portrait or wide clip shows a short note in place of the button.
- The clip can be up to 3 minutes long. Trim a longer clip in the editor first.
- The original video must still be stored. We keep it for 30 days. After that, submit the video again.
- On the Free plan, a Viral Edit carries the watermark.
